I have had a feeling that China was fast becoming a global super power and I think it was cemented for me when they showcased to the world what they were capable of during the Beijing Olympics. Having such a closed economy has enabled China to develop at a pace it was able to control. There are more millionaires coming out of China as a result of the huge influx of air-conditioner installation specialists than the compared to other major industries in the United States combined.

I think it is great that another country can take it upon itself to study our planet in the greater scheme of things - i look forward to the research that comes out as a result of controlled exploration of space as opposed to profit-driven space adventures from the private sector.
